Why the IceSpa 7kW is Different
The Spawer IceSpa 7kW has been specifically engineered for colder climates. Thanks to its advanced EVI (Enhanced Vapour Injection) compressor and Full Inverter technology, it continues to operate efficiently in temperatures as low as -25°C.
Even at an air temperature of -10°C and a water temperature of 38°C, the IceSpa still delivers 3.3kW of heating output, making it an ideal choice for year-round hot tub ownership in Scotland.
Awarded Gold Standard at both the 2024 and 2025 UK Pool & Spa Awards and winner of the What Spa? 2026 Best Buy Award, the IceSpa has quickly become one of the most respected spa heat pumps available today.
Whether you’re looking to reduce running costs, extend your hot tub season or enjoy your spa throughout the winter months, the IceSpa 7kW delivers outstanding performance in all conditions.
How Does a Heat Pump Work?
A heat pump works by extracting natural heat energy from the surrounding air and transferring it into your hot tub water.
The fan draws outside air across an evaporator containing refrigerant. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the air and is then compressed, increasing its temperature. This heat is transferred through a heat exchanger into the spa water before the cycle repeats.
Because a heat pump transfers heat rather than generating it directly, it can deliver multiple units of heat energy for every unit of electricity consumed, making it one of the most efficient ways to heat a hot tub.
The result is lower running costs, improved energy efficiency and more affordable hot tub ownership throughout the year.
